Abstract

The abdominal aortic aneurysm (AAA) can present a serious complication, which is rupture, which is associated with a high mortality rate. As a result, the early surgery of ruptured abdominal aortic aneurysm can provide greater survival for these patients. However, there are two methods to do this fix. This article makes a bibliographical revision, in order to compare the procedures used in this emergency surgery (open and endovascular surgery technique), with the purpose of defining which approach offers greater benefit.
